Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 February 2026
This policy explains how we use cookies at foryqel.com, which categories exist and how you can control them at any time through the preferences banner.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device to remember information between visits: selected language, preferences, session, or anonymous metrics. Some are essential and others are optional.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary: keep security and basic navigation working. Functionality: remember preferences such as language. Analytics: allow us to measure aggregate site usage. Advertising and personalisation: used with Google Ads to measure campaigns and show relevant content according to your consent.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
Foryqel implements Google Consent Mode v2, a technical standard that adjusts the behaviour of Google tags according to your decisions. Before you accept or reject, all advertising and analytics signals are set to 'denied'. Only when you confirm your choice from the banner is an 'update' signal emitted, enabling the authorised categories. Additionally, we activate 'ads_data_redaction' to reduce telemetry when advertising is denied.
4. Managing preferences from the banner
The banner shown on your first visit lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Manage preferences category by category. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage) to be reapplied on future visits. If you clear cookies or change device, the banner will appear again.
5. Changing your choice
You can change your preferences at any time by clicking 'Manage cookies' at the bottom of the site. Doing so reopens the panel to update your decisions. The new selection immediately replaces the previous one.
6. Third parties
Besides our own cookies, we use third-party services which may define cookies under their own domain: Google Ads (advertising measurement) and, if you allow it, Google Analytics 4. These services behave according to Consent Mode v2 and respect your choice.
